To my dearest loving amma, our words cannot express how much you meant to us and how grateful and fortunate we are to have had you as our mother in this life. Being the youngest of your children I was privileged to have received much of your unconditional love and attention. To me, the best thing you ever did was nurture us in the Sai fold. It is through your guidance and Swami’s teachings that we are the people we are today. One of the most remarkable things about you was the fairness, treating all, whether family or friends with the same kindness, patience and compassion. Your heart was big enough to hold all equally, and your love was never divided, only multiplied. Your generosity knew no bounds. Even when you had little, you gave freely your time, your spirit and energy. Life didn’t always make things easy for you. But what was inspiring was how you never let that define you or your future. You faced each challenge with dignity, with courage and foremost with perseverance. You did not have much in terms of material wealth but nonetheless you led a full rich life, in terms of love, relationships and the countless lives you touched with open heart. Your legacy is powerful and yet challenging, as no one could ever fill your shoes. I will miss the daily conversations we had which brought much comfort, joy and laughter. You gave us the values you lived by, and the much love you poured into us will live on in our memories, actions and in our hearts. With Swami’s grace, may your soul rest in peace. Jai Sai Ram.
