Loving daughter of the late Mr. Veluppillai Murugesu (Inspector of Police) and the late. Valliyammai Murugesu. Daughter-in-law of late Aaalvar Saravanai and late Annapillai Saravanai.

Beloved wife of the late Saravanai Ponniah(former registrar at the Chief Magistrate Court in Colombo).

Devoted mother of Thayaparan, Thayalini, and Thayananthan.

The mother-in-law of Subothini, Lakseth Silva, and Karthiyayini. Dearest grandmother of Tanisha, Tishona, Tresha, Trevin, and Tishan.

Loving sister of the late Parameswary, late Sivaneshapakkiyam, late Kumaraswamy (Air Force), late Maheshwaran (SSP), late Shanmugam (SSP), and late Balasubramaniyam.

Sister-in-law of late Sundaram, late Sellam, late Subramaniam, late Ganeshan, late Krishnar, late Manonmany, late Nagarani, Noeline (USA) and late Pathmavathy.

The remains will lie at Borella Jayarathna Parlour (Respect Funeral Parlour) 483, Bauddhaloka Mawatha Colombo 8 on 22nd September 2024 (Sunday) from 10.00 A.M onwards for viewing, followed by the Hindu Ceremony. The cortege leaves the parlour at 1.30 P.M for cremation at General Cemetery Borella (Crematorium: Near Devi Balika School).
