Dear Father James, I am so glad that I was able to speak to you a few days ago from the hospital and that conversation gave me great hope of seeing each other soon. You invited me to come to Colombo to visit you. Dear James, as promised I did come to the hospital but I could not see you. I was so disappointed. You have been in my thought and prayers since the time I tried to visit you. On behalf of the English Language Campus Community, I express my sincere thanks and appreciation. One of the students, whom you had in your class, has been recently appointed by the Government as an English Teacher. She thanks you profusely for your dedicated service on campus. You encouraged me very much. One day you told me: "Edwin, Do not please give up the good work that you do for these poor children!" While you were at Cheddikulam, I was at Madhu Church and Pandivirichchan. My memories are fresh with many events where we mutually collaborated. You are aware how Frs. Devarajah and Joe Fernando appreciated your social work. You sought justice from the humans. I am sure that you will ask the same justice from the Chief of the Chief Justices by granting you Eternal Bliss. But the God we worship in faith is a God of Goodness and Kindness. I am sure that He will deliver not just what is just for you, but MUCH MORE THAN THAT. May the good Lord be GRACIOUS TO YOU, dear James.
