Rev Fr Emmanuel Jesuthasan OMI was born in Puloly, lived in Jaffna and passed away peacefully on Monday 23rd of September 2019.

Loving Son of the late Anthonypillai Philips(Headmaster of St Theresa’s School Kilinochchi) and the late Francesca Muthamma.

Beloved brother of the late David Anthony(Ponrasa), George Mariathas, Soosaithasan(Sellam), Christopher(Palar), Grace(Thangamany), Calista Kanmany and Benjamin Thangaras, Survived by Poomani, Elsie(Rukku), John(Navam) and Thevathas.

Brother in law of the late Rosemary, Celine, Rani, Elizabeth, Anthony, Reeni and Joachim, Miriam, Wijeyakumar and Vathy.

Loving uncle of Rasa, Ramani, Roja, Raja, Sandra, Jude, Joy, Jothini, Sujeevan, Nimalraj, Niroshan and Nihanph, Lukshman, Yogala, Pamela, Shamila, Damien and Noeline, Mohann, Thiona, Natasha and Alvin.

Rev Fr Jesuthasan will be resting at De Mazaned Chapel of Rest, Colombogam. Cortege will leave at 2.30 pm to St Mary's Cathedral, Jaffna and the funeral will take place at 3.30 pm on the 26th of September 2019.
