So sad to hear the death of Dr Yogeswaran, a great sugeon Sri Lanka ever produced. I did my internship under him in 1973 at GH Kurunegala. His surgical skill is an art that only a few can acquire. In fact I was interested in surgery, but after working under him I felt that I wont have the stamina to work like him. Thus I moved into another specialty and was able to achieve excellence. Now I too have retired and lives in Australia. I will never forget this great surgeon.

I had the opportunity to work with him as an intern at Srijayawardanapura Hospital. A great surgeon, a great person and my mentor. We will miss him! He’ll be in God’s hands! Yogarajah Balarajan
