Mr. Chinnaiyah Kanapathipillai was born and lived in Puloly South, Srilanka and passed away peacefully on 24th February 2025.

He was the loving son of late Kanapathipillai Chinnaiyah and late Vallipillai Chinnaiyah. Son-in-law of the late Sinnaiyah Thanikasalam and late Kanthimathy Thanikasalam

Beloved husband of Sarojini Kanapathipillai.

Loving father of Ketheesan (USA), Vasuki(UK), and Mathumai (USA). 

Brother of late Parvathy Rajaratnam (Mahes), late Chinnaiyah Sivapatham, Chinnaiyah Kathirgamar (Sri Lanka), Thilakavathy Kumarasamy (Canada), Meenadchy Veluppillai (Mani, USA), and Chinnaiyah Kananathan (Sri Lanka).

Brother-in-law of late Nadarajah Rajaratnam, late Sivagurunathar Kumarasamy, late Alvappillai Veluppillai, Balambikai Sivapatham (Australia), and Sugirtharanee Kathirgamar (Sri Lanka), late Thanikasalam Balendra, Vasantha Velummylum (Sri Lanka), and Dhamayanthi Mahadevan (USA). 

Father-in-law of Sivappiryai Veluppillai (USA) and Rajadurai Gunaseelan (UK).

Grandfather of Bavan Gunaseelan (UK), Elango Ketheesan (USA), Kesavan Gunaseelan (UK), and Vanni Ketheesan (USA). 

The funeral rites will take place at his residence in Puloly South, Puloly on Thursday 27 February 2025.  Rituals will start at 8:00 AM and finish by 10:30 AM. The cortege will leave the residence after the rituals to Aanaiviluthan cemetery for cremation.
