Dear Rasan, Your departure from our midst is a great loss to all who knew you, though it comes as no surprise given the remarkable qualities you displayed so abundantly throughout your life. You touched many hearts with your warmth, generosity and unmistakable presence. We fondly remember your fabulous hospitality, the delicious food you prepared on countless occasions, and your humour and infectious laughter, which still echo whenever we think of you. With your easy-going nature, you related effortlessly to people of all ages, possessing that rare gift of making everyone feel special and valued. By your side was Siva Acca, your devoted wife — together you were truly two sides of the same coin, beautifully complementing one another. As kindred spirits, you shared a deep spiritual bond and were jointly connected through your unwavering devotion to Sri Sathya Sai Baba, a foundation that strengthened your love and guided your lives. You were a proud man and a devoted father who loved your son deeply. This love led you to migrate to the opposite side of the world so you could spend precious time with him, while still returning to the UK during the milder months to be with friends and family here. You were a worthy recipient of an MBE from our Monarch, yet remained modest and grounded, choosing to keep your beloved BMW rather than exchange it for something newer or grander. Your emotional support during difficult times meant more than words can express and will never be forgotten. We bid you a loving farewell and hold your memory close in our hearts. Ohm Sai Ram. With fondest love from, Dharmini, Dackle, Nimalan & Family and Shalini & family (Rajaratnam clan)
