Mr. Casipillai Logenthiran, who was born in Ariyalai, Jaffna, and was a resident of London, peacefully passed away on the night of Tuesday, 28 July 2026.

He was the beloved son of the late Casipillai and Soothipillai; the beloved son-in-law of the late Ponnaiah and Saraswathipillai; and the dearly loved husband of the late Satkunam.

He was also the beloved brother of the late Krishnapillai, Savundararajah, the late Logeswaran, Thuraisingham, Selvathurai, Kanagaratnam, Thavagnanam, and the late Sothirajah.

He was the loving father of Baheerathy, Baheerathan, and Baheertha; the beloved father-in-law of Prabaharan, Mathura, and Kumanan; and the cherished grandfather of Aharan, Anehan, Eashan, Janani, Illakkia, Thuvaraka, and Anbicka.

He was also the beloved brother-in-law of the Yasothathevy, Urutherathevy, the late Thillainayagi, Thavakumari, Arundhathi, Sivayogam, Padmavathy, Mohanakumari, late Thanakumari, late Pathmanathan, Pathmavathy, the late Tharmapoopathy, Rajeswaran, Eheswaran, and Padmaloshani.
