Mrs. Basilica (Mallika) Perinpanathan was born in Naranthanai (Kayts) Jaffna, Sri Lanka and lived in Colombo and Vavuniya. She sadly passed away on the 07th April 2025.  

Dearest daughter of late Manuelpillai Joseph Vethanayagam and late Mary Regina Selvamany.  

Daughter-in-law of late James Nicholas and late Felicitas Nicholas.  

Beloved wife of late Nicolas Joseph Salvator Perinpanathan. 

Loving mother of late Xystus Priyadharshan and Quintus Sudharshan.  

Loving mother-in-law of Christala Vijitha and in-law of late Joseph Soundranayagam and Mary Regina Helen.

Loving sister and sister-in-law of Manonmani (Rock Mylvaganam), Stephen (Lilanthri), late Raymond, Late Jasmin (Regno Arulgnanendran), Francis (Thevarani), Malini (Nimalan), Yohan (Vijitha) Sharmini (Joe Regy) Anton (Antonette).  

Loving sister-in-law of Jayanathan (Devi), Sathianathan (Pushpam), Sr. Victorine James (HC), Roy (late Dharshini), late Sr. Ancilla James (HF), Jeeva (Jeyanthi), Gratia (Pushparatnam), Jothi (Damayanthi) and late Parimala.  

Loving grand mother of Marento Jevon and Mariana Joane.  

Viewing will be at A.F.Raymond Funeral Parlor, Borella on Sunday, 13th April, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Monday 14th April, starting at 8:00 AM to 10 AM, followed by Holy Mass at the funeral parlour. The cortege will then proceed for burial at Borella General Cemetery.
