அன்னார், காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான கந்தசாமி நாகம்மா தம்பதிகளின் அருமைப் புதல்வியும், காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான இலட்சுமணப்பிள்ளை லட்சுமி தம்பதிகளின் அன்பு மருமகளும்,

குலசேகரம் அவர்களின் அன்பு மனைவியும்,

ஜெனார்த்தன், லக்சியா ஆகியோரின் அன்புத் தாயாரும்,

கமலா(இலங்கை), பேபி சரோசா(ஜேர்மனி, முன்னாள் ஆசிரியை- வேலணை மத்திய மகா வித்தியாலயம்), காலஞ்சென்ற பாலசுப்பிரமணியம், பாலசரவணபவன்(இலங்கை), சிவபாலன்(ஜேர்மனி) ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு சகோதரியும், 

ஷப்ரினா, துஷியந்தன் ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மாமியாரும்,

காலஞ்சென்ற சிவசுப்பிரமணியம், சிவானந்தா(ஜேர்மனி), பவா(ஜேர்மனி), கெளசல்யா(இலங்கை), ஜெயக்குமாரி(ஜேர்மனி), ஞானசேகரம்(ஜேர்மனி), கலைமகள்(இலங்கை), சந்திரசேகரம்(இலங்கை), சிவசோதி(கனடா) ஆகியோரின் மைத்துனியும்,

மக்‌ஷன், லிவியா ஆகியோரின் அன்புப் பேத்தியும் ஆவார்.

Balapushparani Kulasegaram, 67, of Brampton, passed away on September 7th 2022 peacefully in her sleep after a fierce battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Lovingly known as Karuna or Rani; she was born on November 12, 1954 to the late Kanthasamy and Nagama in Puliyankoodal, Kayts, Sri Lanka.

After graduating from Vellanai Nadaraja School in 1972, at the young age of 18, she went on to care for her father and siblings after the passing of her mother. This was a task she took on with grace and care and ensured she did all that she could. She was kind, generous and extremely maternal to her family and anyone she came across, she loved fiercely.

After Marrying Kulasegaram Lechumanpillai in 1984, they both departed Sri Lanka to settle and start a family in Germany shortly after the start of the civil war in 1985. Karuna and Kulam would go on to have 2 children, Janarthan and Luxiya, who both love her and revere her as the “best mom ever”.

Rani was a wonderful and devoted mother, wife and grandmother, as well as a great friend and sister to all. She always taught us to be kind and supported us all throughout the many accomplishments and difficulties of our lives.

When Karuna wasn't working hard, she could be found at temples praying; her favourite and most cherished pastime. She loved god as much as she loved her family.

Karuna leaves behind her husband Lechumanapillai. Her devoted children Janarthan, and Luxiya, and daughter-in-law Subrina. As well, her beautiful grandchildren Maxen (Janarthan) and Livya (Luxiya) who will miss her dearly.

We pray she rests in peace and is forever blessed. We love her always and forever.
