Hi, I’m Sanjeev, one of thathas grandchild. Thatha, a brother, a father, a grandpa, a friend, a hero, a loving husband, and a role model. These are just a couple of figures he has been over the past 83 years. Thatha has been the most inspirational and motivational person in my life. He has been by my side since time and he will continuously do so. I perceive thatha as a superhero. There wasn’t a day that thatha took age as an excuse to lay back or walk away from something. He was always on his toes and kept himself occupied by doing something. The smile on his face is something I’ll truly miss and I will never forget. I remember the countless things thatha has helped me, whether it was with school work or life decisions. He was always there for me as a friend and a role model that supported me on every decision I made. He had taught me many life lessons; lessons that I will always remember and live by. He had all the answers I needed, as he would simply answer them with his knowledge. I was blessed to have him in my life and I will truly miss him. The memories that I’ve created with thatha will always be cherished and I will never forget them. Even if he’s not here with us today, I wish him all the best with his new journey amongst the earth. I will always remember to look towards the sky, as I know he will always be there watching all of us. I will continue to work hard and make him proud. To my biggest inspiration and role model, I will always love you and miss you. There will never be a day that goes by without thinking of you. I love you and I miss you thatha.
