What I have always admired most about Appamma is how caring a person she is. She knew most of the grandchildren better than even our own parents. She knew my favourite foods, what time I went gym and what types of shirts I’d like. She knew all about Gowsi’s new manager or about Arun’s new apartment. Her caring nature meant she always took a genuine interest in her grandchildren’s lives. In keeping with her caring nature, she was huge on hospitality. Anyone who came to her house had to leave with a full stomach! And whenever she bought gifts she was careful to buy only the most meaningful gifts. Even in her last moments she pleaded for everyone not to take time out of their lives for her. Rest in peace Appamma, I hope that I will be as caring as you once I have my own family. And I hope that now god will take care of you in the same way that you have taken care of everyone else 🙏🏾
