Ammamma, we were saddened to hear that a beautiful person passed away. My thoughts are with you and your family. The place me and my sister always used to visit during our childhood is your house in Colombo. You and appappa always welcomed us and treated like your kids. All that beautiful memories will stay alive for ever. My past grandmother used to tell me that you were the one who took me to the right specialist in Colombo after everyone gave up on me when I was seriously ,being only less than six months old baby. Moreover, you and appappa kindly supported me through out my university periods in Sri Lanka and Calgary, after I moved to Canada in 2008. When I moved to Calgary, I still remember you and appappa used to call me together on every weekends to check I was doing well and taught me some over the phone cooking lessons. Your fresh and caring voice, calling me “appuchi”, is still fresh in my memories. When I met you and appappa last year, you welcomed me again with the same welcoming, caring, and smiling face, despite you were being sick. Thank again your for all your help and support. I lost another beautiful soul. You will be always in our hearts. I pray and hope you are in a better place, Ammamma. May your soul rest in peace.
